Dickey Park Athletics Field

The Town of Amherst engaged Glenn Group to reimagine Dickey Park in Amherst, Nova Scotia — transforming an existing soccer field into a complete athletic event venue with track-and-field components, building on our team's recent work at the Truro track grounds. The existing park included a small splash pad, playground, washroom facilities, and dog park, alongside parking and site constraints. Glenn Group led a master planning process that helped the Town evaluate options, refine priorities, and present the project to Council with clear budget considerations and implementation scenarios, supported by high-quality renderings and a comprehensive report of opportunities, constraints, and practical realities. The master plan has been submitted, and feedback from Council and the steering committee has been overwhelmingly positive.
