Bonshaw Provincial Park

Glenn Group designed Bonshaw Provincial Park, creating an immersive outdoor destination that draws visitors deeper into one of Prince Edward Island's most treasured natural landscapes. The design roots every element in the site's woodland and river setting, inviting play and exploration that feel like a natural extension of the park itself.

At its heart is a natural playground built from timber, stone, and other organic materials, where children climb, balance, and discover in a setting shaped by the land rather than imposed on it. A network of trails threads through the park to connect play areas, gathering spots, and river access, while shade structures provide comfortable places to pause, keeping families cool and sheltered throughout the day.
